Greg Marrs - Electric Guitar

Greg performs vocals, acoustic guitar, mandolin and banjo. He has performed in the local music scene since the early 70’s. He happilly/gleefully shifted between genres, thrift-store toggery, and ill-considered hairstyles, with each new cultural calamity to emerge during the analogue days, i.e., before digital. (He does apologize for the spandex.)

Following an extended period of behavioral modification in New York City, he returned to the Richmond area where he currently performs with The Taters.

Greg also arranges & records with several local Richmond-area musicians.

The reference to analogue days refers to Greg being a bit of a purist. He prefers to just keep replaying/re-recording it, until it’s right, rather than the ‘freedom’ we have with digital to move timing and tune pitches.
