Matt Treacy
Cello, Phase II


Matt is a native West Virginian from Huntington, WV.

He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2008 with a BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

Founded in 1775, Hampden–Sydney is the oldest privately chartered college in the southern United States.


That same year he started his music career in Richmond as a session cellist, guitarist and singer for various studios in the area.

He currently lives and works in Ashland, Virginia, where he manages the nonprofit organization Free Jambalaya Inc., is the founder and chief audio engineer for FJ Studio, and is a partner in the new venture, Cardinali Digital Media.
